Phil Cavell and his colleague Jules at Cyclefit have looked after me and my bikes since the early 2000s. In his book “The Midlife Cyclist” Phil writes “When we look back at this book in 20 years time, and I’m almost 80 (busy writing The Twilight Cyclist) … “
I’m almost there - just past the midpoint between 70 and 80. Hence , the Sunset Cyclist as the title for my blog. I checked with Phil that he didn’t regard this as plagiarism, in fact he said he was looking forward to reading it.
